Danny Sparks-Cousins

has been 4 wheel driving since 1998 when he bought a Hilux Surf to spend many weekends beach camping on Queenslands Stradbroke, Moreton and Fraser Islands. Driving on the beaches and dunes soon saw Danny wanting to see more of the Australian landscape so trips up and down the eastern states began.

Danny ended up moving to Victoria and discovering mud, so decided to upgrade the Surf to an 80 Series Landcruiser on 35s to enjoy more of the many forest areas the state has to offer.

Danny is a keen 4wder and an active member of the Geelong 4wd Club. He and his family are often on trips both within the state and nation wide. He is also self confessed 'IT Geek' who enjoys keeping up with all the latest technology available to 4wders.

Danny has been working with 4wd TV since 2007, assisting with production, maintaining the website and providing the much needed technical support required to keep the Backyard Production edit suite functional and up to date.

Danny can be seen regularly on 4wd TV on both sides of the cameras as a co host, trip leader and cameraman. Now a full host for YOUR4X4, Danny’s positive attitude and enthusiasm for the outdoors and all things 4wd related can be seen through his happy smile and skillful driving in every single episode.
